Chapter 20.--COURTS
Article 26.--RETIREMENT SYSTEM FOR JUSTICES AND JUDGES

      20-2611.   Statement of facts upon retirement; determination ofamount of annuity.Any judge or conservator of a judge who retires under K.S.A. 20-2608 or20-2609, and any amendments thereto, shall give to theboard a statement of facts which shall include an accurate record of allservice claimed by such judge, his salary when he last served as ajudge, the amount of contributions he has made to the fund, designationof beneficiary and any other information the board may request. Theboard shall determine the accuracy of all pertinent facts claimed andmay call a hearing to determine any or all matters necessary in order todetermine the amount of the annuity to which such judge is entitled.After obtaining all facts it deems necessary, the board shall render itsdecision as to the amount of the annuity, if any, to which such judgeshall be entitled.
