Article 38.--CRIMES AFFECTING GOVERNMENTAL FUNCTIONS

      21-3818.   Falsely reporting a crime.(a) Falsely reporting a crime is informing a law enforcement officer orstateinvestigative agency that acrime has been committed, knowing that such information is false andintending that the officer or agency shall act in reliance upon suchinformation.

      (b)   Falsely reporting a crime is a class A nonperson misdemeanor.
