Article 42.--CRIMES AGAINST THE PUBLIC SAFETY

      21-4229.   Criminal street gang member; bail,exceptions.When acriminal street gang member, as definedin K.S.A. 21-4226, and amendments thereto, is arrested fora person felony, bail shall be at least $50,000 cash or surety,unless the courtdetermines on the record that the defendant is not likely to reoffend, anappropriate intensivepre-trial supervision program is available and the defendant agrees to complywith the mandateof such pre-trial supervision.
