Chapter 21.--CRIMES AND PUNISHMENTS
PART II.--PROHIBITED CONDUCT
Article 44.--CRIMES AFFECTING BUSINESS

      21-4407.   Receiving a sports bribe.Receiving a sports bribe is:

      (a)   Accepting, agreeing to accept or soliciting by a sports participantof any benefit from another person upon an understanding that such sportsparticipant will thereby be influenced not to give suchparticipant's best efforts in asports contest; or

      (b)   Accepting, agreeing to accept or soliciting by a sports official anybenefit from another person upon an understanding that such officialwill perform such official'sduties improperly.

      Receiving a sports bribe is a class Anonperson misdemeanor.
