Chapter 22.--CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
KANSAS CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
Article 27.--UNIFORM CRIMINAL EXTRADITION ACT

      22-2702.   Fugitives from justice; duty of governor.Subject to the provisions of this article, the provisions of theconstitution of the United States controlling, and any and all acts ofcongress enacted in pursuance thereof, it is the duty of the governor ofthis state to have arrested and delivered up to the executive authority ofany other state of the United States any person charged in that state withtreason, felony, or other crime, who has fled from justice and is found inthis state.
