Chapter 22.--CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
KANSAS CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
Article 27.--UNIFORM CRIMINAL EXTRADITION ACT

      22-2719.   Persons under criminal prosecution in this state at time ofrequisition.If a criminal prosecution has been instituted against such person underthe laws of this state and is still pending, the governor, in hisdiscretion, either may surrender him on demand of the executive authorityof another state or hold him until he has been tried and discharged orconvicted and punished in this state.
