Chapter 22.--CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
KANSAS CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
Article 27.--UNIFORM CRIMINAL EXTRADITION ACT

      22-2725.   Immunity from service of process in civil actions.A person brought into this state by, or after waiver of, extraditionbased on a criminal charge shall not be subject to service of personalprocess in civil actions arising out of the same facts as the criminalproceedings to answer which he is being or has been returned, until he hasbeen convicted in the criminal proceedings, or, if acquitted, until he hashad reasonable opportunity to return to the state from which he wasextradited.
