Chapter 22.--CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
KANSAS CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
Article 29.--PROCEDURE AFTER ARREST

      22-2906.   Definitions.As used in K.S.A. 22-2907 to 22-2911, inclusive:

      (1)   "District attorney" means district attorney or county attorney.

      (2)   "Complaint" means complaint, indictment or information.

      (3)   "Diversion" means referral of a defendant in a criminal case toa supervised performance program prior to adjudication.

      (4)   "Diversion agreement" means the specification of formal termsand conditions which a defendant must fulfill in order to have thecharges against him or her dismissed.
