Chapter 22.--CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
KANSAS CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
Article 32.--PROCEEDINGS BEFORE TRIAL

      22-3217.   Pretrial conference.At any time after the filing of the indictment or information the courtupon motion of any party or upon its own motion may order one or moreconferences to consider such matters as will promote a fair and expeditioustrial. At the conclusion of a conference the court shall prepare and file amemorandum of the matters agreed upon. No admissions made by the defendantor his attorney at the conference shall be used against the defendantunless the admissions are reduced to writing and signed by the defendantand his attorney. This section shall not be invoked in the case of adefendant who is not represented by counsel.
