Chapter 22.--CRIMINAL PROCEDURE

Article 37.--RELEASE PROCEDURES

      22-3710.   Kansas parole board; seal, orders, records, reports.The Kansas parole board shall adopt an official seal of which thecourts shall take judicial notice. The orders of the paroleboard shall not bereviewable except as to compliance with the terms of this act or otherapplicable laws of this state. The parole board shallkeep a record of itsacts and shall notify each institution and the secretary of corrections ofits decisions relating to the persons who are or have been confinedtherein. At the close of each fiscal year, the paroleboard shall submit tothe governor and to the legislature a report with statistical and otherdata of its work, including research studies which it may make ofprobation, sentencing, parole, postrelease supervision or relatedfunctions, and a compilation andanalysis of dispositions of criminal cases by district courts throughoutthe state or by executive authority.
