Article 37.--RELEASE PROCEDURES

      22-3723.   Transfer of offenders under treaties.Whenever a treaty is in force between the United States and a foreign countryproviding for the transfer of offenders between the United States and suchforeign country, the governor is authorized to give the approval of thestate of Kansas to a transfer as provided in the treaty, upon the applicationof a person under the jurisdiction of the secretary of corrections or thesecretary of social and rehabilitation services.
