Chapter 22.--CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
KANSAS CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE
Article 46.--GENERAL PROVISIONS

      22-4605.   Release from custody; query criminaldatabases.(a) No person, whether convicted or being held on suspicionof charges, who is incarcerated by the state or anypolitical subdivision thereof shall be released from custody until thecustodian of such person has queried available state and federal criminaldatabases to determine whether there are any outstanding warrants forsuch person's arrest.

      (b)   This section shall be part of and supplemental to the Kansas code ofcriminalprocedure.
