Article 10.--CASE MANAGEMENT

      23-1001.   Case management; process.Case management under this act is the process by which aneutral case manager appointed by the court, or by a hearing officer in aproceeding pursuant to K.S.A. 23-701, and amendments thereto, or throughagreement by the parties, assists the partiesby providing a procedure, other than mediation, which facilitates negotiationof a plan for child custody, residency or visitation orparenting time. In theeventthat theparties are unable to reach an agreement, the case manager shall makerecommendations to the court.
