Chapter 24.--DRAINAGE AND LEVEES
Article 4.--DRAINAGE DISTRICTS WITHIN COUNTIES OR CITIES

      24-401.   Organization of drainage districts; duties of board of countycommissioners.Subject to the provisions of K.S.A. 19-270, the boards of countycommissioners of the several counties in thisstate shall have power and it shall be their duty, upon a proper petitionbeing presented for that purpose, to incorporate and organize drainagedistricts within their respective counties, in the manner hereinafterprovided.
