Chapter 24.--DRAINAGE AND LEVEES
Article 6.--DRAINAGE IN ONE OR MORE COUNTIES

      24-628.   Outlet or discharge of more than one district into stream;apportionment of cost.When two or more districts have their outlet or discharge into thesame natural or man-made watercourse or stream and itbecomes necessary to maintain, deepen, enlarge or otherwise improve the natural orman-made watercourse or stream each district shall beassessed for the cost of such work in the same ratio to such total cost asthe discharge of waters of such district bears to the combined discharge ofwaters of all districts emptying into thenatural or man-made watercourse orstream. No district shall be liable to contribute for anyimprovementor costs and expenses incurred in improving the natural orman-made watercourse orstream above the point of discharge of the waters of such district into suchnatural or man-made watercourse.
