Chapter 25.--ELECTIONS
Article 11.--ADVANCE VOTING

      25-1122b.   Special election board; appointment; duties.The county election officer shall appoint a special election boardpursuant to the requirements of K.S.A. 25-2801 to be composed of at leastthree (3) members. In addition to the duties of the board required byK.S.A. 25-1326, the supervising judge of such board shall open everymachine each morning and close and seal every machine each evening.

      The county election officer shall also take the proper security measuresto assure that such machines are not damaged or tampered with in any mannerduring their use and prior to and during tabulation of ballots.
