Chapter 25.--ELECTIONS
Article 29.--VOTING PROCEDURE

      25-2903.   Voting for write-in candidates.Except as otherwise provided by law, if a voter desires to vote for aperson whose name is not on the ballot, the voter shall write the nameof such person in the blank space, if any is provided, under theappropriate title of the office. Failure to make a cross or check mark in thesquare to the left of such name shall not invalidate that portionofthe ballot unless it is impossible to determine the voter's intention.If no blank space is provided for writing in the name of a person whosename is not on the ballot, voters may not vote for any person whose nameis not on the ballot.
