Chapter 25.--ELECTIONS
Article 3.--INDEPENDENT AND OTHER NOMINATION CERTIFICATES; TERMS OF OFFICE; FILLING VACANCIES

      25-306.   Acceptance of multiple nominationsprohibited; exceptions.Unless a person declines a nomination pursuant to K.S.A. 25-306e,andamendmentsthereto, withdraws from candidacy pursuant to K.S.A. 25-306a, and amendmentsthereto, or withdraws from a nomination pursuant to K.S.A. 25-306b, andamendments thereto:

      (a)   No person shallbe eligible toaccept more than one nomination for the same office.

      (b)   No person shall be eligible for nomination to an office pursuant toK.S.A. 25-303 or 25-304, and amendments thereto, if such person has filedeither a declaration of intention to become a candidate for the same office orhas filed a nomination petition for the same office.

      (c)   No person shall be eligible to file either a declaration of intention tobecome a candidate for an office or a nomination petition for an office if suchperson has accepted a nomination for the same office pursuant to K.S.A. 25-303or 25-304, and amendments thereto.
