Chapter 25.--ELECTIONS Article 33.--PARTY AFFILIATION OF VOTERS

25-3307. Political organizations; designation on voter affiliationlists; recognition as a political party.(a) Any political organization seeking the right ofdesignation on voter affiliation lists after the effective date of this actshall file a statement of organization and a certified list of officerswith the secretary of state. Such organization shall have obtainedofficial recognition as a political party prior to filing. However,current status as a recognized political party is not required.

(b) The secretary of state may adopt rules and regulations prescribingthe method of listing members of all registered political organizations invoter registration and affiliation.
