Chapter 25.--ELECTIONS
Article 35.--U.S. CONGRESS, VACANCIES

      25-3501.   United States representative to congress, filling vacanciesby election.Whenever any vacancy shall occur in the office of United Statesrepresentative to congress from any congressional district of this state,leaving an unexpired term, an election shall be held as provided by article1, section 2, clause 4 of the United States constitution and in accordancewith this act. Not later than five (5) days after any such vacancy occurs,the governor shall proclaim the date of such election in accordance withthe provisions of this act.
