Chapter 25.--ELECTIONS
Article 47.--HELP AMERICA VOTE ACT OF 2002 ADMINISTRATIVE COMPLAINT ACT

      25-4706.   Time limits for filing complaints.(a) A complaint shall be filed with the secretary of statewithin30 days after theoccurrence of the actions or events that form the basis for the complaint. Forviolations that areoccurring or about to occur that may need immediate remedy, the complaint shallbe timely filedto allow for resolution.

      (b)   The secretary of state shall deliver a copy of the complaint to eachrespondent.

      (c)   If the secretary of state is the respondent in the complaint, thecomplaint shall befiled and reviewed by the Kansas department of administration and allreferences to thesecretary of state as the determinative body contained in this act shall beconstrued to refer to theKansas department of administration.
