Chapter 25.--ELECTIONS
Article 8.--PRESIDENTIAL ELECTORS

      25-802.   Meeting of electors; vacancies, how filled; duties ofelectors.The electors of president and vice-president of the United States shallconvene at the capital of the state on the first Monday after the secondWednesday in December after their election, at the hour of twelve o'clockat noon of that day; and if there shall be any vacancy in the office ofelectors, occasioned by death, refusal to act, neglect to attend, or othercause, the electors present shall immediately proceed to fill, by ballotand by a plurality of votes, such vacancy in the electoral college; andwhen the electors shall appear, or the vacancies shall have been filled asabove provided, they shall proceed to perform the duties required of suchelectors by the constitution and laws of the United States.
