Chapter 27.--FEDERAL JURISDICTION
Article 1.--FEDERAL PROPERTY

      27-116.   Roads within boundaries of lands acquired for military ornaval purposes not abandoned or vacated; reopening, when.That where the United States government shall acquire or has acquired,after December 7, 1941, by purchase, gift or condemnation any lands in thisstate for military or naval purposes and within the boundaries of the landsso acquired there are located county or township roads and some or all ofsuch roads are closed to public travel, the closing of such roads and theclosing of extensions of such roads lying outside said boundaries whichconnect with other township or county roads or state highways shall not beconstrued to be or constitute an abandonment or vacation of such roads orextensions. Whenever the United States government no longer uses the landsso acquired for military or naval purposes, the board of countycommissioners or township board, as the case may be, may by resolution opensaid roads and extensions and no condemnation or other proceedings shall benecessary to reopen the same.
