Chapter 27.--FEDERAL JURISDICTION
Article 3.--SURPLUS PROPERTY OF FEDERAL AGENCIES

      27-313.   Charges and fees for administration of act; limitations.The surplus property officer shall makecharges or assess fees for financing the administration of this act. Anycharges made or fees assessed by the surplus property officer for theacquisition, warehousing, distribution, or transfer of any property of theUnited States of America for purposes of education, public health, or civildefense, or for research for any such purpose, or for any other purposewhich may now be or hereafter become eligible under the act, shall belimited to those reasonably related to the costs of administration of thisact and the cost of care and handling in respect to its acquisition,receipt, warehousing, distribution or transfer by the surplus propertyofficer, and, in the case of real property, such charges and fees shall belimited to the reasonable administrative costs of the surplus propertyofficer incurred in effectingtransfer.
