Chapter 28.--FEES AND SALARIES
Article 2.--COUNTIES BETWEEN 130,000 AND 185,000

      28-222.   Cook and assistant for county jail; feeding prisoners.The board of county commissioners may employ a cook and an assistant forthe county jail at a reasonable wage and shall pay all expenses for feedingthe prisoners in the county jail. No contract shall ever be made with thesheriffs for feeding such prisoners.
