Chapter 28.--FEES AND SALARIES
Article 8.--COUNTIES OF 100,000 OR LESS

      28-811.   Additional compensation for certain county officers andemployees.All county officers, their deputies, assistants and employees, exceptthe officers whose salaries are fixed by sections 2 to 12, bothsections inclusive, of this act, and except the assistant countyattorney of any county having a population of more than forty thousand(40,000) and an assessed tangible valuation of more than sixty milliondollars ($60,000,000) and not more than seventy-five million dollars($75,000,000), shall receive compensation in the amount of twentypercent (20%) of the salary fixed by statute for each such officer,deputy, assistant or employee, and such compensation shall be inaddition to the salary fixed by statute. Such additional compensationshall be paid in equal monthly installments and may be paid even thoughsuch expenditure was not included in the county budget for the period inwhich such additional compensation is paid.
