Chapter 31.--FIRE PROTECTION
Article 4.--ARSON REPORTING

      31-405.   Confidentiality of information; personnel of authorized agencyrequired to testify.(a) Except as otherwise provided in K.S.A. 31-403(c), any authorizedagency or insurance companydescribed in K.S.A. 31-402 or 31-403 which receives any information furnishedpursuant to this act, shall hold the information in confidence until suchtime as its release is required pursuant to a criminal or civil proceeding.

      (b)   Any authorized agency referred to in K.S.A. 31-402, or itspersonnel, may be required to testify in any litigation in which the insurancecompany at interest is named as a party.
