Chapter 32.--WILDLIFE, PARKS AND RECREATION
Article 10.--ENFORCEMENT

      32-1048.   Conservation officers and employees; arrest powers.Any officer or otheremployee of the department who meets the criteria specified in subsection (a)of K.S.A. 32-808 and amendments thereto and any other Kansas lawenforcementofficer authorized to enforce the laws of this state shall have the powerto arrest pursuant to the authority granted in subsection (b) of K.S.A.32-808 and amendments thereto, at any place in the state ofKansas, any person or persons found violating any laws of the state, and rulesandregulations promulgated pursuant to chapter 32 of the Kansas StatutesAnnotated, and amendments thereto, and to bring suchpersons immediately before the nearest proper judge of thedistrict courtof the county withinwhich such violation took place for trial.
