Chapter 32.--WILDLIFE, PARKS AND RECREATION
Article 8.--DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE AND PARKS

      32-826.   Same; restrictions.The department shall make no commitment nor enter into any agreement pursuantto the exercise of authority under K.S.A. 32-824 and 32-825until it has determined that sufficient funds are available to it formeeting the state's share, if any, of project costs. The department may enterinto andadminister agreements with the United States or any appropriate agencythereof for planning, acquisition and development projects involvingparticipating federal-aid funds on behalf of any subdivision orsubdivisions of this state, except that such subdivision orsubdivisions shall be required to give necessary assurance to the departmentthat they have available sufficient funds to meet their share, ifany, of the cost of the project and that the acquired or developed areaswill be operated and maintained at the expense of suchsubdivision or subdivisions for public outdoor recreation use.
