Chapter 32.--WILDLIFE, PARKS AND RECREATION
Article 8.--DEPARTMENT OF WILDLIFE AND PARKS

      32-850.   Mineral leases; authorization.The secretary is hereby authorized tolease any of the lands under the secretary's control, the titleof which is vested inthe state of Kansas, for the production of oil, gas or other minerals,which the secretary deems valuable for thatpurpose. All such leasesshall be on such terms and conditions as the secretary prescribes,except that such leases shallnot be for a period of more than 10 years, and so long as oil, gas orother minerals are produced in paying quantities thereon.
