Chapter 32.--WILDLIFE, PARKS AND RECREATION
Article 9.--LICENSES, PERMITS, STAMPS AND OTHER ISSUES

      32-914.   Same; courses of instruction; certificates from otherjurisdictions.(a) The secretary shall institute and coordinate astatewide course of furharvester education and, in so doing, may cooperatewith local subdivisions of government or with any reputable individualor organization. The secretary, using department personnel or other persons,may conduct such courses in furharvester education and issue furharvestercertificates of competency on a temporary basis at times when and in areaswhere other competent agencies are unable or unwilling to meet the demand forinstruction.

      (b)   Any similar certificate issued outside the state of Kansas by agovernmental agency or a public or private association or club in compliancewith an approved governmental program having as its objective the promotion offurharvester education shall be accepted as complying with the requirements ofK.S.A. 32-912.
