Chapter 32.--WILDLIFE, PARKS AND RECREATION
Article 9.--LICENSES, PERMITS, STAMPS AND OTHER ISSUES

      32-956.   Wildlife importation permits.(a) The secretary shall adopt, in accordance with K.S.A. 32-805 andamendments thereto, rules and regulations concerning the prohibition of certainwildlife from the waters and lands in this state. Such rules andregulations:

      (1)   Shall contain a list consisting of wildlife prohibited;

      (2)   shall provide forcertain exemptions concerning the use of such wildlife for an experimental,scientific or display purpose and for the issuance of wildlife importationpermits therefor; and

      (3)   may provide for certain exemptions concerning the use of such wildlifefor such other purposes as authorized by the secretary under such conditionsand restrictions as the secretary deems necessary and for the issuance ofwildlife importation permits therefor.

      (b)   A fee may be prescribed for wildlife importationpermits pursuant to K.S.A.32-988 and amendments thereto.
