Chapter 32.--WILDLIFE, PARKS AND RECREATION
Article 9.--LICENSES, PERMITS, STAMPS AND OTHER ISSUES

      32-993.   Migratory waterfowl propagation andprotection fund.(a) All moneys received pursuant to the issuance ofthemigratory waterfowl habitat stamp shall be remittedto the state treasurerin accordance with the provisions of K.S.A. 75-4215, and amendmentsthereto.Upon receipt of each such remittance, the statetreasurershall deposit theentire amount in the state treasury tothe credit of the migratory waterfowl propagation and protection fund,which is herebycreated. All expenditures from such fund shall be in accordance withappropriations acts upon warrants of the director ofaccounts and reportsissued pursuant to vouchers approved by the secretary.

      (b)   No expenditure shall be madefrom the migratory waterfowl propagation and protection fund except forprojects approved by the secretary for the purpose of protecting andpropagating migratory waterfowl, including the acquisition, by purchase orlease, ofmigratory waterfowl habitats in this state, and for the purpose ofdevelopment, restoration, maintenance or preservation of waterfowl habitats.
