Chapter 38.--MINORS
Article 11.--DETERMINATION OF PARENTAGE

      38-1122.   Costs.The court may order reasonable fees ofcounsel and the child's guardian ad litem and other expenses of the action,including blood tests, to be paid by the parties in proportions and at timesdetermined by the court. The court may order the proportion of any indigentparty to be paid from the general fund of the county. After payment, thecourt may tax all, part or none of the expenses as costs in the action. Nofee shall be allowed for representation of the petitioner by the county ordistrict attorney. Thefee of an expert witness qualified as an examiner of blood types, but notappointed by the court, shall be paid by the party calling the expertwitness but shall not be taxed as costs in the action.
