Chapter 38.--MINORS
Article 11.--DETERMINATION OF PARENTAGE

      38-1123.   Enforcement of judgment or order.(a) If existence of the father and child relationship has been determined andpayment ofsupport is ordered under prior law, the court may order support and any relatedexpenses to be paidthrough the central unit for collection anddisbursement of support payments designated pursuant to K.S.A. 23-4,118, andamendmentsthereto. If payment of support is ordered under this act, the court shallrequire such support and anyrelated expense to be paid through the central unit forcollection and disbursement of support payments designated pursuant to K.S.A.23-4,118, andamendments thereto.

      (b)   The provisions of the Kansas income withholding act, K.S.A.23-4,105 through K.S.A. 23-4,123, and amendments thereto, shall apply to orders of support issuedunder this act or under the predecessor to this act.

      (c)   Willful failure to obey the judgment or order of the court is a civil contempt of thecourt. All remedies for the enforcement of judgments apply.
