Chapter 38.--MINORS
Article 13.--CHILD CUSTODY JURISDICTION

      38-1360.   Duty to enforce.(UCCJEA 303). (a) A court of this state shall recognize andenforce a child-custody determination of a court of another state if the lattercourt exercised jurisdiction in substantial conformity with this act or thedetermination was made under factual circumstances meeting the jurisdictionalstandards of this act and the determination has not been modified in accordancewith this act.

      (b)   A court of this state may utilize any remedy available under otherlaw of this state to enforce a child-custody determination made by a courtof another state. The remedies provided in K.S.A. 38-1358 through 38-1374 andamendments thereto, are cumulative and do not affect the availability ofother remedies to enforce a child-custody determination.
