Chapter 38.--MINORS
Article 22.--REVISED KANSAS CODE FOR CARE OF CHILDREN

      38-2224.   Same; employer prohibited from imposingsanctions on employee making report or cooperating in investigation;penalty.(a) No employer shall terminate the employment of, preventorimpair thepractice or occupation of, or impose any other sanction on, any employeebecause the employeemade an oral or written report to, or cooperated with an investigation by, alaw enforcement agencyor the secretary relating to harm inflicted upon a child which was suspected bythe employee ofhaving resulted from the physical, mental or emotional abuse or neglect orsexual abuse of the child.

      (b)   Violation of this section is a class B misdemeanor.
