Article 23.--REVISED KANSAS JUVENILE JUSTICE CODE

      38-2319.   Determination of child support.(a) The court shall order child support unless good cause isshown why suchsupport should not be ordered.In determining theamount of a child support order under the revised Kansas juvenile justice code,the court shall apply the Kansas child support guidelines adopted pursuant toK.S.A. 20-165, and amendments thereto.

      (b)   If necessary to carry out the intent of this section, the court mayrefer the matter to thesecretary of social and rehabilitation services for child support enforcement.
