Chapter 38.--MINORS
Article 3.--DEPENDENT OR NEGLECTED CHILDREN

      38-323.   Termination of adoption support.Adoption support under this act shall not continue: (a) Beyond the time thatthe adopted child reaches eighteen (18) years of age, unless such adoptedperson is participating in an educational or training program approved bythe secretary, in which case adoption support under this act shall continueuntil such adopted person becomes twenty-one (21) years of age or untilsuch adopted person ceases participation in an educational or training programapproved by the secretary, whichever occurs first; or (b) beyond the timethat the adopted child becomes emancipated, dies or otherwise ceases to need support.
