Chapter 38.--MINORS
Article 3.--DEPENDENT OR NEGLECTED CHILDREN

      38-325.   Acceptance and use of funds by director for purposes of act;payments.Within the limits of appropriations made for the care of children infoster homes and child-care institutions, the secretary is herebyauthorized to make funds available to carry out the provisions of this actand, for such purposes, to contract with any public agency or licensedchild placement agency or adoptive parent. The secretary is authorizedfurther to accept funds from other sources including federal, private andother public funding sources to carry out the purposes of this act.Payments may be continuing or lump sum payments of adoptive support. Inlieu of or in addition to continuing payments, the secretary may make oneor more specific lump sum payments for or on behalf of the child, either tothe adoptive parent or directly to other persons to assist in correctingany condition causing such child to be hard to place for adoption.
