Chapter 39.--MENTALLY ILL, INCAPACITATED AND DEPENDENT PERSONS; SOCIAL WELFARE
Article 11.--PHYSICALLY DISABLED PERSONS

      39-1108.   Same; use of service dog by person withdisability.Every person with a disability shall have theright to be accompanied by a service dog, speciallyselected, trainedandtested for the purpose which shall include, but not be limited to,pulling awheelchair, opening doors and picking up objects, in or upon any of theplaces listed in K.S.A. 39-1101, and amendments thereto, in the acquisitionand use of rental, residential housing and in the purchase and use ofresidential housing without beingrequired to pay an extra charge for the service dog. Suchperson shall beliable for any damage done to the premises by such dog.
