Chapter 39.--MENTALLY ILL, INCAPACITATED AND DEPENDENT PERSONS; SOCIAL WELFARE
Article 7.--SOCIAL WELFARE

      39-7,131.   Same; application for waivers of federal requirements prior toimplementation of act.Where required, the secretary of social and rehabilitationservices shallapply for waiver of federal law or regulation as necessary to implement theprovisions of this act[*].The secretary of social and rehabilitation services shall notimplement any provision of this act if the secretary determines thatimplementing such provision would have the effect of spending more stategeneral funds than appropriated or reducing or eliminatingfederal matching funds or other federal funds.
