Chapter 39.--MENTALLY ILL, INCAPACITATED AND DEPENDENT PERSONS; SOCIAL WELFARE
Article 7.--SOCIAL WELFARE

      39-7,137.   Construction.(a) Nothing in K.S.A. 39-7,137 through 39-7,152 and amendmentstheretoshall beconstrued as a waiver by the state of Kansas of immunity from suit under the11th amendment to the constitution of the United States or as allowing anyjurisdiction outside this state to impose sanctions or penalties against thestate of Kansas, any agency or instrumentality thereof, its officers oremployees.

      (b)   K.S.A. 39-7,137 through 39-7,152 and amendments thereto shallbe part of andsupplemental to article 7 of chapter 39 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated.
