Chapter 39.--MENTALLY ILL, INCAPACITATED AND DEPENDENT PERSONS; SOCIAL WELFARE
Article 9.--ADULT CARE HOMES

      39-924.   Purpose of act.The purpose of this act is the development, establishment, andenforcement of standards (1) for the care, treatment, health, safety,welfare and comfort of individuals in adult care homes licensed by thesecretary of aging and (2) for theconstruction, general hygiene, maintenance and operation of said adult carehomes, which, in the light of advancing knowledge, will promote safe andadequate accommodation, care and treatment of such individuals in adult carehomes.
