Chapter 40.--INSURANCE
Article 1.--INSURANCE DEPARTMENT

      40-109.   Qualifications; personal attention to duties; interest ininsurance company.The commissioner of insurance shall be an elector of this state, andshall be a person well versed and experienced in the business of insuranceand matters relating thereto; and he shall give his personal presence andattention to the duties of his office; but in no case shall suchcommissioner of insurance be in the employment of any insurance company orhave any official connection with any insurance company, or any financialinterest in any insurance company other than as a policyholder.
