Chapter 40.--INSURANCE
Article 17.--FIREFIGHTERS RELIEF ACT

      40-1704.   Books of account; fraud.Every insurance company shall keep accurate books of account of allfire and lightning insurance written by them covering risks locatedwithin this state.In the case of any fraud or dishonesty in the returnsmade by an insurance company, asprovided in K.S.A. 40-1702 and amendments thereto, the commissioner of insuranceshall investigate the returns and collectthe amount which the commissioner finds to be due.
