Chapter 40.--INSURANCE
Article 2.--GENERAL PROVISIONS

      40-2,138.   Investments by insurance companies governed by state lawnotwithstanding federal preemption.Notwithstanding the provisions of section 106 of the secondary mortgage marketenhancement act of 1984, P.L. 98-440 (15 U.S.C. 77r-1), the provisions ofarticles 2a and 2b of chapter 40 of the Kansas Statutes Annotated relating tothe qualifications, limitations and kinds of investments that insurancecompanies domiciled in Kansas may purchase and hold shall apply.
