Chapter 40.--INSURANCE Article 32.--HEALTH MAINTENANCE ORGANIZATIONS AND MEDICARE PROVIDER ORGANIZATIONS

40-3217. Operational health maintenance organizations; issuance ofcertificate.Any health maintenance organization in existence and operating on theeffective date of this act in this state shall apply for and be entitledto the issuance of a certificate. Such organization shall apply for saidcertificate within one hundred twenty (120) days after the effectivedate of this act, submitting with such application the informationrequired under K.S.A. 40-3203, together with a filing fee in theamount of one hundred fifty dollars ($150). Any such health maintenanceorganization shall be in compliance with the provisions of this actwithin one year after the issuance of such certificate.
