Chapter 40.--INSURANCE
Article 36.--IMPAIRED OR INSOLVENT INSURERS

      40-3615.   Confidentiality of records and documents in proceedings under40-3613 and 40-3614; exceptions.In all proceedings and judicial reviews thereof under K.S.A. 40-3613and 40-3614, all records of the insurer, other documents, and all insurancedepartment files and court records and papers, so far as they pertain to or area part of the record of the proceedings, shall be and remain confidentialexcept as is necessary to obtain compliance therewith, unless and until thedistrict court of Shawnee county, after hearing arguments from the parties inchambers, shall order otherwise; or unless the insurer requests that the matterbe made public. Until such court order, all papers filed with the clerk of thedistrict court of Shawnee county shall be held by such clerk in a confidentialfile.
