Chapter 40.--INSURANCE
Article 47.--KANSAS BUSINESS HEALTH PARTNERSHIP

      40-4706.   Same; Kansas health policyauthority; duties.The Kansas healthpolicy authority shall investigate andpursue all possible policy options to bring into this partnership title XIX andthe title XXI eligible families of any eligible employees employed by asmall employer. On and after July 1, 2006, the Kansas health policyauthorityshall develop and seek federal approval of any appropriate variance or stateplan amendment for the state children's health insurance program established byK.S.A. 38-2001 et seq., and amendments thereto, and the statemedical assistance program required to accomplish the purposes of this act.On and after July 1, 2006, the Kansas health policyauthority shall work with the health partnership to develop a singleemployee application that may be used by the health plan and the medicaid andstate children's health insuranceprogram to determine eligibility.
